The conference was attended by Pulmonologists all over Pakistan. The PCS Guideline on Idiopathic and Connective tissue related Non-Specific Interstitial Pneumonitis (iNSIP and CTD-NSIP) and PCS-ILD PAK Registry report updated till end February 2018 was presented in the inaugural session by Chairman ILD Guideline committee Dr. Mosavir Ansarie (See PPT).
A DPLD session was held on 23rd March which was chaired by Gen. Jawad Ansari and moderated by Dr. Shirin Khan. Dr. Ali Zubairi spoke on What’s new in management of ILD, Dr. Muhammad Tufail on Transbronchial Cryobiopsy in diagnosis Of DPLD and Dr. Suleman Khan on ILD with connective tissue diseases.
A Video Tele Conference was held in a plenary session on 25th March the speaker was Prof. Luca Richeldi and the session was chaired by Dr. Mosavir Ansarie and Co-chaired by Dr. Zubair Shaheen and Dr. Ali Zubairi and moderated by Dr. Talha Mahmud. The Topic of Prof. Richeldi’s lecture was “The CURRENT AND FUTURE APPROACHES TO THE DIAGNOSIS OF IPF AND THE ROLE OF GLOBAL AND REGIONAL REGISTRIES” in his lecture Prof. Richeldi outlined the requirements of National and Global Registries and Congratulated Pakistan on the development of PCS-ILD PAK Registry.
